In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers basketball team scored a close 50-44 win over the Avonworth Antelopes.

The Chargers (21-3) will now prepare for their contest against Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA). The Centurions come into the non-league contest with a 17-5 record. In their last contest, Greensburg Central Catholic edged Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA), 56-47, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Antelopes battle the Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 21. Avonworth will attempt to better on its 12-8 season record. The Quakers come into the contest with a 15-9 record after their 56-47 non-league loss to Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA).
