The Freeland Falcons basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Meridian Mustangs to 54 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Falcons now possess a 16-3 record. They play next when they host Bridgeport for a Tri-Valley - East game on Friday, February 21.
With the loss, Meridian falls to 16-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Gladwin (Gladwin, MI) to confront the Flying G's in a non-league game on Friday, February 21. The Flying G's go into the game with a record of 7-12. Gladwin lost 48-39 in their recent league game against Clare (Clare, MI)
