In Wednesday's non-league test, the Monson Mustangs (Monson, MA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Pioneer Valley Christian Eagles (Springfield, MA), by a score of 44-34.
Next, the Mustangs encounter the Hoosac Valley Hurricanes (Cheshire, MA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 22. Monson will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Hurricanes come into the test with a 17-3 record after their 68-27 non-league win over Granby (Granby, MA).
The Eagles (16-3) will now prepare for their test against Minuteman Regional (Lexington, MA). The Minuteman come into the non-league test with a 7-3 record.
