The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Union Tigers (Mount Storm, WV) and the visiting Paw Paw Pirates (Paw Paw, WV), observed Union's basketball team knock off Paw Paw by a score of 41-24.

The Tigers (5-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Pocahontas County (Dunmore, WV). The Warriors come into the Potomac Valley challenge with a 13-4 record. In their last challenge, Pocahontas County prevailed over Webster County (Upper Glade, WV), 47-44, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Pirates encounter the Hancock Panthers (Hancock, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 22. Paw Paw will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 57-15 non-league loss to Union (Mount Storm, WV).
