The Paxton Tigers (Paxton, NE) basketball edged the host Sandhills/Thedford Knights (Dunning, NE), 45-39 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 14-8 record. They play next when they travel to Mullen for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 20. Paxton will play a Broncos team coming off a 53-24 non-league win over Arthur County (Arthur, NE). The Broncos record now stands at 18-2.

With the loss, Sandhills/Thedford falls to 12-10 on the campaign.
