The South Effingham Mustangs soccer squad scored 10 points and held the visiting Johnson Atomsmashers to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Bradwell Institute for a 5A Region 1 bout on Friday, February 21. South Effingham will play a Tigers squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Liberty County (Hinesville, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Johnson moves to 0-5 on the year. The Atomsmashers travel to Vidalia (Vidalia, GA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, February 21. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Vidalia lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA)
