In Wednesday's league contest, the host Cumberland Clippers ice hockey team scored a close 6-2 triumph over the Coventry Oakers.

The Clippers (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI). The Saints come into the non-league challenge with a 12-4 record.

In their next game, the Oakers battle the West Warwick Wizards (West Warwick, RI) in a Division 2 challenge, on Saturday, February 22. Coventry will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Wizards come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 7-4 league loss to Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI).
