The Valley View Eagles baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Carter Lions to 3 in the Eagles non-league win on Wednesday.

The Eagles now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Redlands East Valley for a non-league test on Friday, February 21. Valley View will play a Wildcats team coming off a 10-8 non-league loss to Beckman (Irvine, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Carter drops to 0-2 on the year. The Lions host Claremont (Claremont, CA) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league test on Saturday, February 22. The Wolfpack go into the test with a record of 0-2. Claremont lost 11-2 in their recent non-league test against Yucaipa (Yucaipa, CA)
