Texas High School Baseball - Freeman edges Spring

In Thursday's non-league game, the host Freeman Golden Eagles baseball team scored a close 3-1 win over the Spring Lions.

The Golden Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Fort Bend Elkins by Lamar (Houston, TX), 13-3, in a non-league match.

The Lions now have a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tivy for a non-league match on Thursday, February 19. Spring will battle a Antlers squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX). The Antlers record now stands at 1-0.
