In Thursday's non-league bout, the Hillcrest Panthers (Dallas, TX) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Mabank Panthers (Mabank, TX), by a tally of 10-1.

The Panthers now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Poteet for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 19.

With the defeat, Mabank drops to 2-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to Emerson (McKinney, TX) to clash with the Mavericks in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 20. The Mavericks go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Emerson won 13-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Naaman Forest (Garland, TX)
