The Trinity Christian Eagles basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Cristo Rey Saints to 48 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westlake Charter for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 5. Trinity Christian will battle a Explorers team coming off a 63-58 non-league loss to John Adams Academy (Roseville, CA). The Explorers record now stands at 3-6.
The Saints (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Buckingham Charter (Vacaville, CA). The Knights enter the Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Buckingham Charter triumphed over Sacramento Country Day (Sacramento, CA), 65-33, in a league contest.
