Magnet Cove Panthers (Malvern, AR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mountain Pine Red Devils (Mountain Pine, AR), 58-23 in a league bout.

With the victory, Magnet Cove upgrades its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Cutter-Morning Star (Hot Springs National Park, AR) to play the Eagles in a 2A Region 7 bout on Saturday, February 5. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 2-12.

Next up, the Red Devils play the Caddo Hills Indians (Norman, AR) in a 2A Region 7 bout, on Saturday, February 5. Mountain Pine will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
