Iowa High School Basketball - Alburnett knocked off by Wilton

The Wilton Beavers basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Alburnett Pirates to 57 in the Beavers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Beavers now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Branch for a River Valley contest on Friday, February 3. Wilton will meet a Bears team coming off a 80-51 non-league win over Lisbon (Lisbon, IA). The Bears record now stands at 10-7.
The Pirates (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Cedar (Stanwood, IA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 1-14 record. In their last contest, North Cedar was outscored by Lisbon (Lisbon, IA), 62-35, in a non-league contest.
