The Apollo Eagles basketball team (St. Cloud, MN), was overwhelmed 71-50 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Little Falls Flyers (Little Falls, MN)
The Flyers now possess a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milaca for a AA Section 6 battle on Friday, February 3. Little Falls will confront a Wolves team coming off a 72-63 non-league win over Rush City (Rush City, MN). The Wolves record now stands at 12-4.
The Eagles (1-14) will now prepare for their battle against Brainerd (Brainerd, MN). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, Brainerd trounced Willmar (Willmar, MN), 100-69, in a non-league battle.
