In Thursday's league outing, the Corydon Central Panthers (Corydon, IN) basketball squad beat the visiting Austin Eagles (Austin, IN), by a count of 81-72.
The Panthers (15-4) will now prepare for their outing against Providence (Clarksville, IN). The Pioneers go into the non-league outing with a 13-3 record. In their last outing, Providence defeated South Central (Elizabeth, IN), 49-26, in a non-league outing.
With the defeat, Austin moves to 4-13 on the year. The Eagles host Trinity Lutheran (Seymour, IN) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Saturday, February 4. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 5-11. Trinity Lutheran lost 56-38 in their recent non-league match against Jac-Cen-Del (Osgood, IN)
