The Floyd Central Highlanders basketball team (Floyds Knobs, IN), was overwhelmed 58-34 in Thursday's league battle with the host Bedford North Lawrence Stars (Bedford, IN)
The Stars now possess a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evansville Memorial for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 4. Bedford North Lawrence will confront a Tigers team coming off a 61-45 league loss to Evansville Reitz (Evansville, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 10-6.
The Highlanders (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against Center Grove (Greenwood, IN). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 16-1 record. In their last battle, Center Grove trounced Avon (Avon, IN), 61-56, in a non-league battle.
