The Bolton Central Eagles basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Long Lake Central Lakers to 29 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wells for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Bolton Central will battle a Indians team coming off a 72-48 league loss to Crown Point (Crown Point, NY). The Indians record now stands at 3-12.
The Lakers (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Placid (Lake Placid, NY). The Bombers enter the non-league contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Lake Placid was routed by Newcomb Central (Newcomb, NY), 58-34, in a league contest.
