The Chamberlain Cubs ran past the host Stanley County Buffalos basketball team by a final score of 65-51 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Cubs face the Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD) in a A Region 5 game, on Friday, February 3. Chamberlain will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Titans enter the game with a 10-3 record after their 74-61 league win over Hanson (Alexandria, SD).
With the defeat, Stanley County moves to 3-12 on the year. The Buffalos travel to Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD) to face the Battlers in a non-league game on Monday, February 6. The Battlers enter the game with a record of 1-13.
