The Whitney Point Eagles routed the host Edison Spartans basketball team by a margin of 100-10 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Eagles (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Charles O. Dickerson (Trumansburg, NY). The Blue Raiders go into the Section 4 Interscholastic - North Large test with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Charles O. Dickerson was trounced by Lansing (Lansing, NY), 68-60, in a league test.

The Spartans now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Waverly for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. Edison will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 66-42 league win over Watkins Glen (Watkins Glen, NY). The Wolverines record now stands at 12-2.
