The Spotswood Trailblazers basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Fluvanna County Flying Flucos to 42 in the Trailblazers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Trailblazers now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Turner Ashby for a Valley contest on Tuesday, February 7. Spotswood will battle a Knights team coming off a 62-51 league loss to Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA). The Knights record now stands at 4-16.

The Flying Flucos (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Lions enter the Jefferson contest with a 2-16 record. In their last contest, Louisa County was routed by Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA), 72-29, in a league contest.
