The Inter-Lakes Lakers basketball team (Meredith, NH), was nudged 81-75 in Thursday's league battle with the host Somersworth Toppers (Somersworth, NH)
The Toppers now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prospect Mountain for a Division III battle on Friday, February 3. Somersworth will confront a Timberwolves team coming off a 59-22 league loss to St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover, NH). The Timberwolves record now stands at 3-7.
The Lakers (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Gilford (Gilford, NH). The Golden Eagles come into the Division III battle with a 15-0 record. In their last battle, Gilford edged Kearsarge (North Sutton, NH), 70-21, in a league battle.
