The Miller Rustlers basketball team (Miller, SD), was nudged 51-45 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, SD)

The Tigers now possess a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Central for a non-league battle on Friday, February 3. Ipswich will confront a Thunder team coming off a 73-30 non-league loss to Aberdeen Christian (Aberdeen, SD). The Thunder record now stands at 1-12.

The Rustlers (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Platte/Geddes (Platte, SD). The Black Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Platte/Geddes edged Kimball/White Lake (Kimball, SD), 62-53, in a league battle.
