The St. Labre Indian Catholic Braves (Ashland, MT) basketball nipped the visiting Lame Deer Morning Stars (Lame Deer, MT), 66-63 in Thursday's league test.
The Braves (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Lodge Grass (Lodge Grass, MT). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Lodge Grass was tipped by Huntley Project (Worden, MT), 57-53, in a non-league test.
The Morning Stars now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Forsyth for a non-league test on Friday, February 3. Lame Deer will encounter a Dogies squad coming off a 39-33 league win over Colstrip (Colstrip, MT). The Dogies record now stands at 1-9.
