Williamstown Braves (Williamstown, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Millville Thunderbolts (Millville, NJ), 65-62 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Williamstown upgrades its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Clearview (Mullica Hill, NJ) to play the Pioneers in a Tri-County - Royal bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 6-13. Clearview lost 58-54 in their recent non-league bout against Washington Township (Sewell, NJ)

Next up, the Thunderbolts play the Red Bank Catholic Caseys (Red Bank, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 4. Millville will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Caseys come into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 78-55 league win over Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ).
