In Thursday's non-league outing, the Tripoli Panthers (Tripoli, IA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting West Central Blue Devils (Maynard, IA), by a margin of 75-38.
The Panthers (11-9) will now prepare for their outing against North Tama (Traer, IA). The Red Hawks go into the Iowa Star outing with a 5-11 record. In their last outing, North Tama was trounced by Don Bosco (Gilbertville, IA), 78-60, in a league outing.
The Blue Devils now own a 1-13 record. They play next when they host Clayton-Ridge for a Upper Iowa outing on Friday, February 3. West Central will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 72-49 league loss to MFL MarMac (Monona, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 12-7.
