Michigan High School Basketball - West Iron County knocked off by Wright

The Wright Red Devils basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting West Iron County Wykons to 50 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Red Devils now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wakefield for a Freelance contest on Friday, February 3. Wright will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 78-48 non-league win over Mercer (Mercer, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-5.
The Wykons (0-15) will now prepare for their contest against L'Anse (L'Anse, MI). The Purple Hornets enter the Western Peninsula contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, L'Anse was outscored by Baraga (Baraga, MI), 55-50, in a non-league contest.
