South San Francisco Warriors (South San Francisco, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Half Moon Bay Cougars (Half Moon Bay, CA), 39-38 in a league bout.

With the win, South San Francisco upgrades its record to 6-9 on the season. The Warriors travel to Woodside (Woodside, CA) to clash with the Wildcats in a bout on Saturday, February 4. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Woodside lost 56-43 in their recent league bout against Westmoor (Daly City, CA)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS (San Mateo, CA) in a bout, on Saturday, February 4. Half Moon Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The FIGHTING KNIGHTS go into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 57-42 league win over El Camino (South San Francisco, CA).
