Colorado High School Basketball - Perkins County beaten by Akron

The Akron Rams ran past the visiting Perkins County Plainsmen basketball team by a final score of 49-33 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Rams face the Merino Rams (Merino, CO) in a 3A/2A Lower Platte game, on Friday, February 3. Akron will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Rams enter the game with a 11-2 record after their 59-28 non-league win over Limon (Limon, CO).

With the defeat, Perkins County moves to 10-8 on the year. The Plainsmen travel to Potter-Dix (Potter, NE) to face the Coyotes in a non-league game on Saturday, February 4. The Coyotes enter the game with a record of 5-11. Potter-Dix lost 48-31 in their recent non-league game against Garden County (Oshkosh, NE)
