The Capitol Lions basketball team (Baton Rouge, LA), was nudged 37-31 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Baker Buffaloes (Baker, LA)
The Buffaloes now possess a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Feliciana for a non-league battle on Monday, February 6. Baker will battle a Saints team coming off a 66-45 non-league win over White Castle (White Castle, LA). The Saints record now stands at 22-5.
The Lions (6-14) will now prepare for their battle against Port Allen (Port Allen, LA). The Pelicans come into the non-league battle with a 10-11 record. In their last battle, Port Allen was nudged by Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA), 44-36, in a league battle.
