The California Trojans (Coal Center, PA) basketball nipped the host Bentworth Bearcats (Bentleyville, PA), 52-48 in Thursday's league test.
The Trojans (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Washington (Washington, PA). The Prexies go into the WPIAL 2A 4 test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, Washington got by Carmichaels (Carmichaels, PA), 45-14, in a league test.
The Bearcats now own a 4-14 record.
