South Dakota High School Basketball - Viborg/Hurley overwhelms Bridgewater/Emery

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD) and the host Bridgewater/Emery Huskies (Emery, SD), saw Viborg/Hurley's basketball squad wallop Bridgewater/Emery by a tally of 56-27.

With the victory, Viborg/Hurley improves its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Wagner (Wagner, SD) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 15-1. Wagner won 67-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Andes Central/Dakota Christian (Lake Andes, SD)

Next up, the Huskies play the Gayville-Volin Raiders (Gayville, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. Bridgewater/Emery will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 40-31 non-league loss to Tripp-Delmont/Armour (Armour, SD).
