Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA) and the visiting Canoga Park Hunters (Canoga Park, CA), saw Grant's basketball squad knock off Canoga Park by a tally of 43-23.

With the victory, Grant improves its record to 4-12 on the campaign.

Next up, the Hunters play the Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA) in a Valley Mission challenge, on Friday, February 3. Canoga Park will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 11-11 record after their 80-16 league win over Panorama (Panorama City, CA).
