The Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets basketball team (New Roads, LA), was overwhelmed 58-37 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Central Wildcats (Baton Rouge, LA)
The Wildcats now possess a 2-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scotlandville for a 5A District 4 battle on Friday, February 3. Central will confront a Hornets team coming off a 57-50 non-league loss to Southern Lab (Baton Rouge, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 17-8.
The Hornets (11-7) will now prepare for their battle against Central Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
