Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Challenger Firebirds (Hickory, NC) and the visiting Community Christian Academy Warriors (Bessemer City, NC), saw Challenger's basketball squad wallop Community Christian Academy by a tally of 52-11.

With the victory, Challenger improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to Victory Christian Academy (Gastonia, NC) to confront the Patriots in a Western Piedmont challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 4-7.
