Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Iowa School for the Deaf Bobcats (Council Bluffs, IA) and the visiting Colorado School for the Deaf Blind Bulldogs (Colorado Springs, CO), saw Iowa School for the Deaf's basketball squad hold off Colorado School for the Deaf Blind by a tally of 16-15.

With the victory, Iowa School for the Deaf improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Bobcats host New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM) to confront the Roadrunners in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 3. The Roadrunners come into the challenge with a record of 2-8. New Mexico School for the Deaf lost 55-21 in their recent league challenge against Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf Trojans (Faribault, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Colorado School for the Deaf Blind will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 1-15 record after their 56-13 non-league loss to Kansas School for the Deaf (Olathe, KS).
