Virginia High School Basketball - Cristo Rey nudges Grace Christian School

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Cristo Rey Royals (Richmond, VA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Grace Christian School Kings (Mechanicsville, VA), by a margin of 39-35.
The Royals (3-10) will now prepare for their outing against Summit Christian Academy (Yorktown, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 0-6 record. In their last outing, Summit Christian Academy was edged by Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA), 35-24, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Kings play the The Carmel School Wildcats (Ruther Glen, VA) in a VISAA Division IV bout, on Friday, February 3. Grace Christian School will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 39-29 non-league loss to St. Michael the Archangel (Fredericksburg, VA).
