The Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL) basketball nipped the visiting DePaul College Prep Rams (Chicago, IL), 42-40 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Friars (14-15) will now prepare for their test against Trinity (River Forest, IL). The Blazers go into the Girls Catholic - Red test with a 18-11 record. In their last test, Trinity got by Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL), 72-56, in a non-league test.
The Rams now own a 20-5 record. They play next when they travel to Providence Catholic for a non-league test on Saturday, February 4. DePaul College Prep will encounter a Celtics squad coming off a 72-56 non-league loss to Trinity (River Forest, IL). The Celtics record now stands at 19-10.
