In Thursday's non-league match, the host Esko Eskomos basketball team scored a good 63-54 triumph over the South Ridge Panthers.
In their next game, the Eskomos meet the Pierz Pioneers (Pierz, MN) in a AA Section 7 match, on Friday, February 3. Esko will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Pioneers enter the match with a 8-9 record after their 56-47 non-league loss to Milaca (Milaca, MN).
With the defeat, South Ridge moves to 15-6 on the year. The Panthers travel to Chisholm (Chisholm, MN) to meet the Bluestreaks in a A Section 7 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Bluestreaks come into the challenge with a record of 11-5.
