Illinois High School Basketball - Grayslake Central knocked off by Vernon Hills

The Vernon Hills Cougars basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Grayslake Central Rams to 40 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now sport a 17-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maine East for a Central Suburban - North contest on Friday, February 3. Vernon Hills will battle a Blue Demons team coming off a 51-38 non-league loss to Fenton (Bensenville, IL). The Blue Demons record now stands at 3-25.
The Rams (16-10) will now prepare for their contest against North Chicago (North Chicago, IL). The Warhawks enter the Northern Lake County contest with a 0-16 record. In their last contest, North Chicago was defeated by Wauconda (Wauconda, IL), 52-15, in a league contest.
