Inter-City Baptist Chargers (Allen Park, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Parkway Christian Eagles (Sterling Heights, MI), 62-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Inter-City Baptist upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Chargers host Southfield Christian (Southfield, MI) to play the Eagles in a Michigan Independent - Blue bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Southfield Christian lost 48-37 in their recent league bout against Oakland Christian (Auburn Hills, MI)

Next up, the Eagles play the Huron Valley Lutheran Hawks (Westland, MI) in a Michigan Independent - Red bout, on Friday, February 3. Parkway Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 45-35 non-league win over Livingston Christian (Pinckney, MI).
