Connecticut High School Basketball - McMahon ripped by Staples

The Staples Wreckers basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting McMahon Senators to 40 in the Wreckers league triumph on Thursday.
The Wreckers now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trumbull for a Fairfield County contest on Tuesday, February 7. Staples will battle a Eagles team coming off a 40-29 league loss to Warde (Fairfield, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 9-6.
The Senators (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT). The Cadets enter the Fairfield County contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, St. Joseph triumphed over Greenwich (Greenwich, CT), 40-27, in a league contest.
