The Newman Fighting Cardinals topped the host Rib Lake Redmen basketball team by a final score of 60-40 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Fighting Cardinals face the Marathon Red Raiders (Marathon, WI) in a Marawood - South game, on Tuesday, February 7. Newman will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record.
