In Thursday's non-league outing, the West Central Area Knights (Barrett, MN) basketball squad edged the host Osakis Silverstreaks (Osakis, MN), by a margin of 52-45.
The Knights (7-9) will now prepare for their outing against Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta (Morris, MN). The Tigers go into the AA Section 3 outing with a 3-11 record. In their last outing, Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta held off Melrose (Melrose, MN), 58-29, in a non-league outing.
The Silverstreaks now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Barnesville for a non-league outing on Friday, February 3. Osakis will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 69-50 league win over Hawley (Hawley, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 9-8.
