In Thursday's non-league outing, the Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI), by a count of 63-39.
The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Burrillville (Harrisville, RI). The Broncos go into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Burrillville was crushed by St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI), 42-32, in a league outing.
The Patriots now hold a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Johnston for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 4.
