The Veritas Christian Academy Warriors basketball team scored 1 points and held the visiting Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy Crusaders to 0 in the Warriors league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinnacle Classical Academy for a contest on Friday, February 3. Veritas Christian Academy will meet a Eagles team coming off a 46-9 league win over Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy (Asheville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 7-8.

The Crusaders (0-11) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Family Academy (Hickory, NC). The Fire enter the contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Christian Family Academy nudged Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy (Lincolnton, NC), 62-25, in a league contest.
