The Albany Falcons (Albany, NY) basketball nipped the host Ballston Spa Scotties (Ballston Spa, NY), 59-55 in Friday's league test.

The Falcons (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Plainsmen go into the Section 2 Suburban - Blue test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Shenendehowa was tipped by Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY), 56-55, in a league test.

The Scotties now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Christian Brothers Academy for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue test on Tuesday, February 6. Ballston Spa will encounter a Brothers squad coming off a 79-68 non-league loss to La Salle Institute (Troy, NY). The Brothers record now stands at 9-8.
