Florida High School Basketball - American Heritage topples Mater Academy Charter

February 2, 2024: Hialeah Gardens, FL 33016

In Friday's non-league outing, the American Heritage Patriots (Plantation, FL) basketball squad beat the host Mater Academy Charter Lions (Hialeah Gardens, FL), by a count of 56-40.

The Patriots (6-11) will now prepare for their outing against Jensen Beach (Jensen Beach, FL). The Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 12-12 record. In their last outing, Jensen Beach defeated John Carroll Catholic (Fort Pierce, FL), 73-64, in a non-league outing.

The Lions now hold a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to Coral Park for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 6. Mater Academy Charter will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 57-54 non-league loss to Jackson (Miami, FL). The Rams record now stands at 10-10.
