Archbold Blue Streaks (Archbold, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Evergreen Vikings (Metamora, OH), 51-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Archbold upgrades its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Blue Streaks travel to Tinora (Defiance, OH) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 6-9. Tinora won 71-50 in their recent league bout against Hicksville (Hicksville, OH)

Next up, the Vikings play the Edon Bombers (Edon, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Evergreen will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Bombers come into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 74-51 non-league loss to Patrick Henry (Hamler, OH).
