The Billerica Memorial Indians (Billerica, MA) basketball nipped the visiting Lowell Red Raiders (Lowell, MA), 60-57 in Friday's non-league test.
The Indians (4-7) will now prepare for their test against New Heights Charter (Brockton, MA). The Phoenix go into the non-league test with a 13-1 record. In their last test, New Heights Charter got by Brooke (Boston, MA), 78-38, in a league test.
The Red Raiders now own a 11-4 record. They play next when they host North Andover for a Merrimack Valley - Large test on Tuesday, February 6. Lowell will encounter a Scarlet Knights squad coming off a 57-53 non-league win over Haverhill (Haverhill, MA). The Scarlet Knights record now stands at 10-3.
