Spencerville Bearcats (Spencerville, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bluffton Pirates (Bluffton, OH), 76-74 in a league bout.

With the win, Spencerville upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Bearcats host New Knoxville (New Knoxville, OH) to clash with the Rangers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 3-13. New Knoxville lost 74-42 in their recent league bout against New Bremen (New Bremen, OH)

Next up, the Pirates clash with the Pandora-Gilboa Rockets (Pandora, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Bluffton will attempt to upgrade on its 14-2 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 14-2 record after their 68-56 non-league win over Liberty-Benton (Findlay, OH).
